What skills do I need to operate a beautiful, delicious candy department for children?

What a beautiful scene to see happy children full of smiles on their faces! I liked candies very much. I dreamed about operating a department full of candies glittering, beautiful and delicious for children. I want to think of some skills or conditions as a successful owner of this department.

Firstly, I need to be a good researcher, because I need much information to operate this store. I have to study about children, main customers. I should know what they like, i.e., color, taste, interior, atmosphere and so on. To know these, I can make surveys at the kindergartens or elementary schools. I might search internet websites or children’s markets related with toys, clothes or foods including candies. I can consult with children’s advisers and teachers. And I can meet many children directly.

Secondly, I need interpersonal skills to serve and work for children as a store owner. There can be kindness, gentleness, patience and loving heart toward children. And I should know how to promote these characters through books or counselors. In addition, I should have clear and strong purposes to operate this business. That would be making the better world through raising children properly and happily. And I should have a strong decision to keep on this business faithfully in spite of any difficult situations.

Thirdly, I need administration skills. They could be skills related with shop operation, leading and training people with me, financial skills, and raising donors if needed.  

In conclusion, I need to be a good researcher, and to have interpersonal skills and administration skills to be a good and successful owner of a candy department for children. Of course it would not be so easy because of the trend of restriction eating candies for the health of children’s teeth. This business could be not so profitable. But it is my dream to do it. If I can see the children to be happy and if I can make a better world because of children’s happiness following that of their parents, it could be recommendable. And if I promote these skills willingly and joyfully, I can be a successful owner of this candy department, “Happiness-making Store.”
